What are the best foods to protect your health?
Research points to: fruit and vegetables. Berries, mango, grapefruit, oranges, lemons, limes, papaya, pineapple and strawberries are at the top of the list for fruit. Fruit is the cleansing food in nature.

Green leafy vegetables and broccoli are at the top of the list for greens.  Greens are the repair food in nature. Cabbage, cauliflower, peppers, tomatoes, walnuts, sunflower seeds, almonds, and hazelnuts are also high on the list. 

What is Go Green? In essence "Go Green" is adding more vegetables and fruit to your diet with intention on health verses pleasure eating.

In doing so, they found that people, who ate more vegetables and fruit, performed better on verbal memory tests than people who consumed less. Consider that it is memory that people tend to lose as they age, especially with Alzheimer’s disease. Fruit is essential to boost memory, which includes the memory of words and their meanings."

Eating lots of fruit, and especially fruit with lots of vitamin C and E was linked with better memory. In addition vitamin C protects the brain from free radicals.


Fruit is the cleansing food in the body. The Digestive System is responsible for separating the pure from the turbid, while the Liver/Gallbladder System is responsible for filtering blood, body fluids and toxic waste from all systems according to Traditional Chinese Medicine. 
The less toxicity in the body, the less that pass over or ends up in the brain.

Imagine an acid-wash? This causes the body to be in an altered state. The result of an acidic state cause problems from dehydration,  internal heat, inflammation to obesity and cancer.
Our acid diet is prevalent across North America. The average America child is acidic by the time they are four years old. Experts now project that many children will not out-live their parents. The only way we can begin to reverse this frightening trend is to begin educating ourselves on the importance of the body's pH balance. We need to Go Green! We need to help our children Go Green! We need an alkaline diet.
What is an Alkaline Diet?

An alkaline diet is emphasizes self-aware self-care by eating of whole food, organic foods and eliminating chemicals masquerading as food, refined food,  reconstructed, reconstituted or isolate foods from the diet - basically "Going Green"!  The acid-alkaline diet goal is to maintain a pH balance between 7.35 and 7.45 with an abundance of green leafy vegetables, varying degrees of other vegetables, fresh fruit, legumes, buts, grains and tubers.
Almost all foods that we eat, after being digested, absorbed, and metabolized, release either an acid or an alkaline base (bicarbonate) into blood. Refined foods, refined sugar, grains, meat, poultry, shellfish, and dairy foods such as cheese and milk, as well as salt and isolate products all produce acid. Therefore the typical American diet is more acid-producing. Eating whole foods, green leafy vegetables, fresh fruit and all vegetables are more alkaline producing.
Our blood is slightly alkaline, with a normal pH level of between 7.35 and 7.45. The acid-alkaline diet high in acid-producing foods disrupts the pH balance and promotes the loss of essential minerals such as potassium, magnesium, calcium, and sodium, as the body tries to restore equilibrium. A simple shift to maintaining a pH balance will improve energy, vitality, over all health and well-being.

"Western medicinal doctors or rather conventional doctors believe "an acid-producing diet is the cause of a number of chronic diseases. Some practitioners recommend the alkaline diet if a person has the following symptoms and other illnesses have been ruled out."

The human body must stay in a very narrow pH range around ( 7.35 - 7.45 ). The ideal pH for blood is 7.4, hence generally speaking we say the normal body range is 7.2. A healthy body is slightly more alkaline therefore, 7.2 is the pH range we want to reach and maintain.
