Quantum Medicine and Energy Healing - Wow Therapy - Wow

Now is the only time there is. Make your now - wow, your minutes - miracles, and your days - pay. Your life will have been magnificently lived and invested, and when you die you will have made a difference. -Mark Victor Hansen

Wow! Wow Therapy is an awareness of how your own consciousness can wow you or you can consciously raise your frequency and vibration by intention to a higher level.

You are Quantum Medicine and an energy healing treasure. Emerging from your own consciousness, being, thoughts, emotions and words you can create by intention and change your Qi/Chi (energy, information, frequency and vibration). A shift in Qi or energy will change a belief, thought, mood, attitude, emotion and the body. Conscious thought and intention will impact health, wellness or any other aspect of our lives causing a paradigm shift. Powered by consciousness you create a state of bliss -  Wow Therapy.

There is a mysterious presence in Nature and that mysterious energy is present within us. When one is in a negative frequency and vibration you can see it. The eyes are dull, skin is pale and you can feel and feel their experience. When one is in a positive state you can see the light in their eye, the glow in their skin and you can feel their energy. Wow Therapy takes one to a higher energy, frequency and vibration in any moment you are in bliss - see the sparkle in the eye!

Be wowed. Tap into your own power. Can I persuade you to believe in the mystery lying hidden in your own consciousness? Can I inspire you to ask questions and open the door to new possibilities? I am wowed by the universe, nature, our human potential by myself and you.

Wow! Have you ever noticed how children see the wonder in simple things and are wowed? My son was always wowed by the wonders of nature and simple things in life. Now my grandson amplifies that by ten. He wows himself and everyone around him. Just playing in the water of a fountain wows "Little Einstein" Jabril. He knows how to create his own Wow Therapy!

Wow Therapy is about easily accepting change about ourselves, others or information. What we believe and think we know to be true is often - not! What happened to Pluto? Pluto got the boot!

When I grow up I am going to tell my children, "When I was a kid Pluto was a planet!"  - Fatima Abdullah

Most of the things we believe are not true or changes. Everything changes and we must be aware and ready for waves of possibilities and seize the opportunities to create whatever it is that we want. - Saquina Akanni

Quantum Medicine presents extraordinary discoveries in Quantum Physics where consciousness, information, thought and intention can transform a state of being to facilitate the body's own healing energy. Wow!

Wow Therapy techniques, tools and products that actualized our body's own vital healing energy for cleansing, balancing, repair, rejuvenation, endurance, vitality, regeneration and longevity have been used for centuries in ancient practices and we now we can tap into both the ancient traditions and the new scientific technologies available to us through Quantum Medicine and energy healing technologies. One just has to be open to the infinite possibilities and willing to knock on the door.

"Ask and you will receive. Knock and the door will be opened." -New Testament

My friend Cherrilyn Mamangon sent me a message today on Facebook she had a Wow Therapy day: "Just got back from TCM doctor appointment. Had the Asyra Digital Homeopathy Test. Wow, wow, wow. Said it wasn't my thyroid gland but my Pituitary gland that causes the issues. Amazing. Treating the correct problem is everything. Tell me more about this technology Saquina!"

Wow Therapy - Here is my response posted on Asyra Digital Homeopathy testing: "Quantum Medicine and energy healing - Everything living or non-living, has Qi (energy, information, frequency and vibrations) a resonant signature. Every tissue and organ in the human body has its own individual resonant frequency. The Asyra System is a biofeedback unit using bioEnergetic testing software which records a copy of the resonance. In a nutshell, the scientific software assesses the energetic state of internal organs, food sensitivities, environmental sensitivities, nutritional needs, hormonal balance, toxin response and more. Using this tool allows accurate readings and removes the guesswork that is involved in many aspects of analysis and diagnosis."

Become a mentor to someone and ask: How can I best serve through my teachings? What can I say to impact for good? – Robert G. Allen

Have you ever been wowed by something you have seen or experienced? Take a minute and remember.

I am wowed by what I have seen and have been wowed by many experiences. I am taking this opportunity to share a couple with you. It is my intention to serve you in that something here will impact you to experience your own Wow Therapy! I am wowed by eyesight, Quantum Physics and zero point field energy infusion. I am wowed by some amazing experiences that have transformed my life. Here is one - my Wow Now 90 Day Challenge experience:

After listening to a call for an opportunity to be part in the Mark Victor Hansen and Robert G Allen (co-authors of One Minute Millionaire and Crack the Millionaire Code) - next 90 Day Challenge – for their new book Cash in a Flash, I knew I had to be one of the participants to learn their secrets. During my interview the question was asked, “Why should we select you Saquina?” My reply was, “Because I am unstoppable!” Needless to say I was one of the 40 students selected out over 1,000.

True to the energy of the Year of the Ox, on the first day of the training event 04/21/09 the power was out in beautiful Rancho Palos Verdes and I woke up in the dark - literally. I was so excited I had already packed the day before therefore a quick show in cold water, got dressed and I was on my way. I arrived at the Fairmont Hotel to spend three days with my mentors Mark Victor Hansen co-author of Chicken Soup for the Soul and Robert G Allen author of Multiple Steams of Internet Income and Nothing Down as one of the students selected for the 90 Day Challenge.

Cash in a Flash Secrets
The training and event was amazing. We received recipes for success and the key ingredients to our own inner wealth: Wow Now, Inner Winner and Dream Team. Wow Now: is a special state of mind and strong mental attitude where we focus our mind so that we remained calm and confident under stress and pressure. Inner Winner: is a special of emotions, frequency and vibration. We learned to shush our lying mind, clear negative thoughts and emotions, to ask ourselves empowering, uplifting questions and to speak in high-vibration, to raise our vibration and frequency with positive high-energy words such as instead of a “problem” switch the word to a “challenge. We "virtualized" and visualized what we wanted using our five senses to experience our future in the present.  We had homework to practice these states by controlling our breathing, our critical voice, our emotional inner whiner and controlling our language stating with removing “but” from our communication. We practiced these states in silence to vibrate at higher frequency to attract what we want. We were placed into groups of five to a team. We listened to speakers, met with our team to formula our plan and strategy and we met with our mentors. Wow Therapy! That was a lot in three days!

I met new friends from different walks of life and different professions some already making mega bucks and some like me all sharing something in common - transformation. My journey was just starting as I would have to pull from every tool I teach, and practice what I preach to overcome challenges, difficulties and obstacles to stay focused, centered and calm.

The Challenge was to do something that we had never done before. We listened to amazing speakers, took notes, got into teams and got to work. My team included James our team leader, David, August and Elizabeth. We named our team – The Quantum Achievers! The challenge was to create from what we already had, little or nothing, identify opportunities from what we already have, identify key ingredients and to determine what was missing to generate $20,000 and 20,000 database names in 90 days! We got to work as a team and individually.

I got to work and listed 101 possibilities, created "The Funnel" then narrowed it down to the top 10 projects to identify my “handing fruit”. I selected my XANGOTM book as the main project, design a website and build a social network for the Challenge.

See Page 169
I was already published in the book Seizing Your Success and had started the XANGOTM book in 2006, so I created a new book series using the Chicken Soup for the Soul model with that publisher, Wake Up and Live. I added content to the XANGOTM Book Project, completed it and submitted it to the publisher and off to the editors. I also leveraged my publisher, Steven E who directed me to Bill Wash to present my book project to XANGOTM. Bill Walsh was inspiring and gave me the courage to go to the top. Contacted Joe Morton, XANGOTM founder to present my XANGOTM Book project. My Cash in a Flash group and team members helped as well as. Joan Kappes from another team referred me to her brother John Ramsey a XANGOTM distributor, who got the ball rolling. Sue Elliot and Carol Fox also contributed to help me get co-authors for my book.

Los Angeles Book Tour
Next, I designed a website from a $9.95 software package: www.saquinaakanni.com, branded myself as the “Prosperity Doctor”, added Health, Wealth and Prosperity, the XANGOTM book, and my miracle oil “Acupuncture in a Bottle” that I have been talking about since 2000, as well as the affiliate Cash in a Flash program. Then I revived my old blog “Alternative Medicine and started a new blog for the “The Prosperity Doctor” for my Social Network empire and created a Facebook page and started building my Twitter following. My team helped me get my brand name in the top 10 Google search for "prosperity doctor". Then I went on the Cash in a Flash book tour. Wow - I did it!

New York Book Tour
That experience was a truly a Wow Therapy. I am 62 years young and generally fly under the radar in my comfort zone. During that journey I realized my own genius potential and transformed. Without the help of my mentors Mark and Bob that would not have been possible as I would not have even considered taking on such a project. The Cash in a Flash Group and my Quantum Team members helped me move into my zone of Genius, blurring work with fun, living in bliss having it all – success and time to pay with my grandson “Baby Einstein” Jabril. I stayed focused under constant distractions, while working as a personal assistant, taking calls in restaurants, being available for my weekly meetings with my team working on my projects at Beverly Hills Bristle Farms CafĂ© while waiting for my client on her schedule! Being with nine family members, our spoiled high maintenance cat Lucky and guests coming and going in my house. I was tested and learned to practice every thing I preach as well as patience, persistence and perseverance, but most of all no fear, “no- resistance”, remaining in balance (most of the time) with joy in my heart living in bliss no matter what is going on around me or not going my way. I had another great adventure doing the book tours and the New York experience was another Wow Therapy!

I had already won the game mind, body, spirit, soul and emotions before the deadline. I wasn’t about the money even though that helped. It was about personal growth. It was about others – helping, sharing, giving and receiving, about being in balance when things were not going my way, overcoming challenges and obstacles to stay on the path even when it was flooded,  and to realize my “true grit” and character under pressure. Thank you team members, thank you Cash in a Flash team groups and most of all Mark and Bob for being my mentors, rekindling my spirit and awaking my soul - setting me free to be – free to soar again as the Prosperity Doctor!

Quantum Medicine and Energy Healing - Visualization Therapies

There is no logical way to the discovery of elemental laws. There is only the way of intuition, which is helped by a feeling for the order lying behind the appearance... The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift. - Albert Einstein

Visualization therapy involves your imagination and focusing your intuitive mind on what you would like to happen and believing with your rational mind that these images are real to your body.

Visualization therapies are powerful forms of quantum medicine and energy healing in action.  It is an alternative energy medicine where one can use the power of consciousness, intuition and energy from within or from Source to utilize ones thoughts, insights, imagination and ideas with intention to tap into ones own power to experience and access the past and the future; to create, manifest and make positive changes in any aspect of ones life.

I am imagination. I can see what the eyes cannot see. I can hear what the ears cannot hear. I can feel what the heart cannot feel. - Peter Zarlenga

Visualization techniques using your own energy, conscious and subconscious mind to treat yourself: your mind, your body, emotions as well as, your soul has been part of ancient natural medicines for centuries. From Western point of view the brain and mind are often used interchangeably, where the brain is the physical anatomy, the mind generates activity and thought is the result of that activity.

From Eastern point of view everything is energy and the mind is an energy type and generates a type of thought, however the entire body and all of its cells are energy and communicate.  Just a few decades ago Western science stated that it was impossible to control involuntary functions, such as heart rate, body temperature and blood pressure. However, with the study and use of biofeedback it is now an accredited method in the medical profession for controlling involuntary functions using the conscious mind with intention to communicate to the subconscious mind. Biofeedback is essentially a process for monitoring a body function such as breathing, heart rate, blood pressure and altering that function through relaxation, visualization or imagery. Biofeedback is essentially a training system or means to reinforce positive new habits, especially new ways of responding to stress.

Visualization may be difficult to understand if you have not tried it or practiced visualization techniques. I watched a program many years ago that documented Tibetan monks using energy, visualization and meditation to raise their body temperature as they sustained themselves overnight outside in the freezing cold. It was amazing. We may not understand it, we don’t have to – all we have to do is step into it and test it out. It is like trying to explain the flavor of an apple. This quote is apropos:

“The ultimate truth is like the flavor of an apple, which you can't see with the eyes or hear with the ear. The only way to experience it is to put the teaching into practice. Once you've tasted it, you'll no longer be in any doubt about its flavor, and you won't have to ask anyone else. The problem will be solved.” - Ajahn Chah

Children have a much easier time learning visualization techniques than adults. Many parents and teachers are aware of the benefits of using visualization.

One of the greatest assets you have is your imagination. The imagination equips us to perceive reality before it's fully materialized. - Mark Victor Hansen

The Chicken Soup for the Soul in the Classroom Series has been used by teaches to create an unique opportunity to inspire students to use their imagination, be goal-oriented, compassionate, confident and ambitious. Anna Unkovich made a difference in her student's lives through the daily use of stories from the this bestselling series. Many teachers have discovered the benefits of teaching students how to use their imagination in various subjects. Students are taught visualization techniques to help them better understand what they read. Students remember vocabulary through visualizing. They dramatize to write. Students learn to explore using all their sensory images to connect and infer and learn to focus to become proficient using visualization strategies with sensory images.

Sadly, some adults report that they don't use their visualization strength or understand how to use it. Often adults lose their sense of imagination, discount their insights and ignore their intuition or create black and white worlds of rules and absolutes. Children are open to learning and visualization is just another new and interesting thing to learn. Children are open to details and how to use all of their sensory perceptions to imagine, to create and experience the results. They weren't taught how to use visualization techniques or believed that it was not important. So, if you ever felt that teaching how to use all your sensory images has no value, consider reading a book, but not seeing any pictures in your mind. Imagine not being able to hold concepts in your long-term memory. It can happen to children, student and adults if they are not taught the value of their greats gift – imagination.

When I examine myself and my methods of thought, I come to the conclusion that the gift of fantasy has meant more to me than my talent for absorbing positive knowledge. - Albert Einstein
Adults hold images in there mind and visualize all the time. If they have not learned the techniques to take their gift of fantasy and turn it into a powerful too. One can learn to use visualization as a tool instead of just thoughts flashing across the mind. The difference is how we visualize and often we are simply observers and without intention. There is a difference in being an observer outside of the experience of visualization and being within the experience of visualization. If you are familiar with the Law of Attraction, you know that everything is energy and a thought has a frequency and vibration and so does feeling. Your feelings precede you. You know this because you can feel a person’s vibration when they enter your space. You can feel if they are happy, sad, irritated, confident, or arrogant and so on. It is your own vibration that attracts something to you and you can always measure your vibration based on how you feel. If you feel good, you’re in a high vibration. If you feel bad you’re in a lower frequency of vibration. Add the sensor perceptions with feeling and the combined are more powerful.

Try this exercise: Imagine you are going on a trip to Hawaii. First, just be the observer at this point and imagine that you’re on the beach. Picture yourself sitting on the beach, lying in the sand staring up into the sky.  How do you feel?

This time visualize buy combining your imagination with your sensory perception. Actually step inside your body and look through your own eyes. Now feel the heat radiating from the sunshine shining on your face and the cool breeze kissing your face as you dig your feet into the hot sand. Hear the waves crashing upon the shoreline and the ice clinging against the glass as you sip your tropical drink. See the beautiful colors in the sky as it meets the horizon of the deep blue water of the Pacific Ocean.  How did you feel this time?

When you experience the vision in the first person through your own eyes, it creates stronger feelings. And that puts you in a higher vibration. By being the third person or observer you distant yourself from the experience and your feelings. If you don’t trigger feelings during your visualization, you won’t attract the things you want

Anyone can master visualization techniques using energy, imagination and your sub-conscious mind, creatively and constructively, to provide all the options, opportunities and avenues for getting to what you want and where you want to be. My mentor Mark Victor Hansen is a master of visualization. “Greatness exists in all of us, but often our fears and preconceptions keep us from taking those steps that will allow us the health, wealth, leisure time, spiritual riches and mental acuity we deserve. First one must discover their subconscious mind. Many are aware of the difference in the conscious and subconscious mind, however were never taught how to harness the most powerful tool given as a natural gift.”

With Visualization Therapy one can focus the minds eye (Third Eye) onto the successful completion of any particular intention, goal or desired outcome one wishes to achieve. The technique includes focusing the mind on what you would like to happen as if it has already happened therefore one must believe that these images are real. One uses the energy of the five senses in conjunction with the mind to experience the environment, the feelings and body interactions.

Visualization Therapy is very precise and detailed. You create an image or imagine how something looks, feels, smells, taste and sounds. Your imagination empowered with your sensory perceptions will allow you to experience it as real. It really is that simple. Your body goes where your mind takes it and through visualization you will experience the reality. You can improve your health, eliminate stress and create the life of your dreams by creating the reality in your mind first.

There are numerous cases where visualization therapy has helped people to combat their illness and lead normal lives again. There are Comprehensive Epilepsy Centers which combine traditional therapy along with visualization to help their patients to decrease activity and prevent a further spread of a seizure.

There are several Chronic Pain Clinics in California which use Visualization therapy to help manage and to achieve control pain with high success rates. Research over the last five years has documented the incredible power of the imagination in the healing process. It is still not understood exactly how this therapy works, just that it does.

There are so many different visualization techniques available to assist you in achieving what ever you want. Below are some techniques which I use and believe will benefit you. Everyone is different and will have different methods depending on what they are trying to accomplish. It is a process and over time with practice you have come to the point where you can use visualization techniques any time,  in any place, be it in a mall or your favorite quiet place in nature.

Methods:
1) Create a vision board. Write down what you want and create a script. Memorize your script and visualize it everyday. Record your script in your own voice. Say or listen to your script and see the images in your mind's eye.

2) Physically act out your goal. Use all of your senses and action moves. For example, with your eyes closed, envision yourself taking that trip to Hawaii. See yourself flipping through the travel book and search the internet for the best packages that include airfare, resort and sporty vehicle. Feel the smile on your face and the joy in your heart as you click the mouse and surf the net. Feel yourself buying the tickets and reading the itinerary, how do you feel as you put it in your desk drawer? See yourself arriving at the airport. What are you waring are your shoes comfortable? Feel the weight of the luggage, how many pieces are you checking it at curb side. What color is your luggage? Notice the smells of coffee and food as you go to your gate. Do you stop to pick up a snack or buy a book? Feel the excitement as hear them call you seating group, feel your carry on bag as you are boarding and going to your first class seat. You must see, hear, feel and taste the details. This may seem silly, and you may feel like a kid playacting, but this is a great visualization technique, not to mention a great stress reliever. Use your imagination and all five senses and have fun with this. Go through all the motions and experiences, as if they were really happening. Notice your emotions, and don't forget to laugh along the way! Allow yourself 5 to 30 minutes every day for 30 days visualizing your dream or goal. Set aside time to rest and remove yourself from everything else going on even if it is only 5 minutes - take time for your dream. Find a quiet, uninterrupted area to perform your visualization techniques. Remember, the more you focus on your dream or goals, the sooner you will achieve them.

3) View The Secret http:thesecret.tv

4) Try the Silva Method: http://thesilvamethod.com Although there are many self-mastery visualization programs available worldwide, the Silva Method is unique. In my research so many people that I know and respect rave about the  step-by-step training method. Change the way you think, change your life!

How you think, believe and behave dictates your living experience. By learning to effectively use the invisible, intangible parts of your self, and by making simple, positive changes, you can live a powerful life of your own design. The Silva Method teaches you how to use more of your mind and activate its untapped areas, while learning to think, believe and behave in ways that will attract more of what you want. Quickly learn visualization techniques that have proven results. In my research Bob Proctor, Jack Canfield and my mentor Mark Victor Hansen have all done and recommend the Silva Method. Even one of my favorite authors "Living in the Light" has this to say:

“One of the earliest workshops I took was the Silva Mind Control Course… The most important technique I learned in that course was the basic technique of creative visualization… Our rational mind is like a computer… The intuitive mind, on the other hand, seems to give access to an infinite supply of information. It appears to be able to tap into a deep storehouse of knowledge and wisdom..

Quantum Medicine and Energy Healing - Unani Medicine - Food Therapy - Resveratrol

"Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food," -Hippocrates,
(The father of modern medicine two-and-a-half thousand years ago.)

“It is, therefore, evident that it is possible to cure by foods, aliments and fruits; but as today the science of medicine is imperfect, this fact is not yet fully grasped. When the science of medicine reaches perfection, treatment will be given by foods, aliments, fragrant fruits and vegetables, and by various waters, hot and cold in temperature." - Abdu’l-Bahá

"Can we eat to starve cancer? ... add natural extract resveratrol from red grapes also in red wine, which inhibit abnormal angiogenesis by 60%... add berries, green tea and soy... What we eat is chemotherapy 3 times per day."
-Dr. William Li - TED2010 - Presentation Feb 2010

"There is a fountain of youth, and it is circulating in the Qi/Chi of live whole foods flowing through bok choy, the likes of shitake mushrooms, resveratrol in black and red grapes and various herbs." - Saquina Akanni

The Unani Medical System is an alternative medicine system which mirrors quantum medicine, as it postulates everything in the universe is energy, consciousness, mind, body and spirit.  It is the source of the Mediterranean Diet.

Unani is an Arabic word that literally means "medicine and healing of the physical, mental, and spiritual realms." Unan means "of the Greeks" in recognition of its Greek origin. In practice throughout the world, it is most often called Unani Tibb.

Unani medicine owes its origin to Hippocrates (460-377 B.C.) and his numerous followers. Considered the Father of Medicine, it was Bukrath (Hippocrates) who freed medicine from the realm of superstition and magic and gave it the status of science. Other Greek medical masters, such as Dioscourides and Jalinoos (Galen) 131-210 AD, who we recognize as the forerunners of Western herbal medicine, are also considered founders of Unani medicine. Many scholars enriched his system including Al-Razi (Rhazes) 850-925 A.D. and Abu Ali Ibn Sina (Avicenna) 980-1037 A.D. are also  noteworthy.
Unani Medicine was the path of modern medicine until the shift in consciousness to materialism.  It continued to spread east and was further enriched by imbibing the best of contemporary systems of medicine in Persia, the middle eastern and far eastern countries. In India the Unani system found immediate favor with the masses and  spread all over the country. So if you ever wondered how those spices, garlic olive, olive oil and exotic flavors got to the Iberian Peninsula it was immigration of the Moors thanks to Spain. It's the Moorish heritage that shows up in agriculture, architecture and the food enhanced with the use of ground almonds and spices, such as saffron, cinnamon, nutmeg and sesame in those savory dishes hence, the Mediterranean diet - food therapy!

"In fact, dissemination, of most of these agricultural commodities, originated from what grew the Fertile Crescent. Three civilizations were responsible for this diffusion: The Phoenicians, The Greeks (and a little bit the Romans), The Moors and Christopher Columbus who brought back the potato and the tomato. Ayurveda and Christian Medicine, Hindu and the Christian doctors joined forces, translating important ancient Greek medical texts: Hippocrates 5th century B.C. and Galen's work 2nd century A.D. Thereafter pathology and psychological assessments were linked to balancing the Four Humours to prevent dis-ease. Diet headed the list of the therapeutic remedies.

In 948 A.D. the Byzantium Emperor sent an illustrated copy of Discoride's de Materia Medica. This too, was translated. Discoride's work became as a basis for pharmacopoeia: the identifying of plants, their particular curative powers and how to prepare compound medications using them. During the reign of the Caliph Abd ar-Rahman 111 the green revolution of the al-Andalus had reached its peak. Excellent agronomy, agricultural studies and irrigation technologies reaped exceptional harvests – three times a year.

There was a demographic explosion: people were very healthy. Diet nutrition was the base-reason for this success. The diet of the Greeks and the Romans succeeded only according to one's wealth status. It was the Moors who liberated knowledge, implementing a good diet with healthy living. Doctors saw fit to encourage al-Andalusians to live a healthy lifestyle. The basis of that diet is what forms the Mediterranean Diet today."
What is the mediterranean diet?

For the Mediterranean people it is not a set diet, but rather a lifestyle or food therapy. Their diet incorporates the basics of healthy eating, plus a splash of flavorful olive oil and perhaps a glass of good red wine, among other components characterizing the traditional cooking style of countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea. This healthy diet lifestyle includes whole foods and no chemicals; whole grains,  fruits, beans and vegetables, yogurt, fish and diary with limited red meat.

Basically the diet is food therapy, food is the medicine and medicine is the food in the so called Mediterranean diet. Therefore, it is not surprising to learn that people following the Mediterranean diet in other countries have a lower incidence of heart disease and cancer. The Mediterranean diet is simply "food therapy" medicine for the body, mind, spirit, emotions and good food for the soul. It is a healthy eating pattern and a lifestyle that also includes walking (out in nature) and sport exercises like soccer and dance, rather than running on a treadmill in a gym.

Four Mediterranean nations: Italy, Greece, Morocco, and Spain have recently filed a petition to have their staple diet, commonly known around the world as simply, ‘The Mediterranean Diet’, listed as a cultural heritage item by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).  This committee is designed to recognize natural and cultural sites around the world in order to protect them from any alteration. Italy, Greece, Morocco, and Spain want to protect the diet’s integrity and states it is becoming endangered, because it is being changed in areas around the world.

Back to what happened to destroy "Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food"  in Western and American medicine, in the early sixteenth century there was a shift in philosophy when Francis Bacon and Rene Descartes both came to similar conclusions in relation to the state of the science and philosophy of their time. Descartes’s philosophy was dualistic, making a complete split, dividing reality into two separate realms – mind and matter. In Descartes's philosophy, the theory of materialism holds that the only thing that exists is matter and that all things are composed of material. All phenomena including consciousness are the result of material interactions. In other words, matter is the only substance, if I can not see it, count and measure it - it is not real. Hence, Western medicine consciousness shifted away from natural foods and remedies and moved toward isolated medicines that could withstand double blind studied and be measured for better living through chemistry, which included our food.

In Western consciousness and thought all things are made of atoms and sensory is very important.  Western Medicine consciousness isolates and separates.  If you can’t see it, it is not a reality therefore consciousness is the ghost in the machine – consciousness is a secondary phenomenon – an illusory epiphenomenon.  However, the Western thought doesn’t entirely hold to this concept, because a ghost cannot act on a machine. "Consciousness, not matter, is the ground of all existence... Consciousness is a causal entity that brings meaning to existence. The essential objectivity of science demands it.”
- Amit Goswami

Carl Jung wrote, “The Western form of consciousness is by no means the same as consciousness, pure and simple.  Rather it is a historically determined, geographically limited entity that only represents a fraction of humanity.  The extension of our form of consciousness should not take place at the expense of other forms of consciousness; instead it should come about through the cultivation of those elements in our own psyche, which are analogous to the qualities of the alien psyche - just as the East is obliged to cultivate our technology, our science and (our) industry.”

Jung’s sage recommendation was many years ahead of his time, and since it did not inspire even his most inveterate critics to take exception to it, it was quickly forgotten.  What’s the source of the problem? The source of the problem is the consciousness and the language. Both create a community of scientist with a finite reservoir of potential solutions to a problem, when those are exhausted, the scientific progress is halted.

Unani Medicine is modern medicines version of quantum medicine and energy healing. Unani Medicine was unchallenged for a long time even after the Mughal period and spread with Muslims and Islam into northern Africa and northern India. The Unani system however, suffered a setback during the colonial period for want of official patronage and is in fact the least known therapeutic system today. Here is a great book to get you started: The Traditional Healer's Handbook by Hakim G. M. Chishti, ND.

I must admit I was also in the dark on Unani Medicine until I had to find an Alternative Medicine that began with the letter "U" for this book. While alternative medicines like Ayurvedic and Chinese Medicines or  therapies like Reiki and crystal therapy are somewhat known and a person might have some idea of what it is; few know or recognize Unani Medicine as par with Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dare to peer through its vale and I am pretty sure you will appreciate its wonders and value par with the other major alternative medicine systems.

Unani Medicine uses the Four Element system: Earth, Water, Fire, and Air and the four homours. Each of the Four Elements have specific qualities. Earth is cold and dry; Water is cold and moist; Fire is hot and dry; Air is hot and moist. If these elements are present in the human body in balance and harmony, the temperature is normal. However, if any one of the elements is dominate, the temperature become out of balance causing dis-harmony leading to disease.

Unani Medicine evolved with the Semitic people and is still practiced in the "Holy Land" where herbs grow ramped and in the Muslim world with the name Hikmat or Unani-Tibb for the past 13 centuries. Its medical practitioners are called Hakims. Unani is an Arabic spelling of Ionian (meaning Greek - al-Yunaan). Medicine in ancient Greece was based on the concept of balancing body humors and this foundation remains the fundamental principle.

The Unani system identifies the presence of four humors in the body: blood, phlegm, yellow bile, and black bile. A healthy body maintains a dynamic equilibrium of these humours, and disorders arise when environmental or intrinsic factors influence a shift out of this equilibrium and one of the humours dominate. Humors either fell out of balance, which might yield diseases (depending on circumstances), or were restored to balance to heal diseases. This system has Four Humours: Hot, Cold, Wet and Dry and Four Elements: Earth, Water, Fire, and Air thus differing from the Ayurvedic medical system of Three Doshas and the Chinese medical system of Five Elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. However, with all three food is the medicine and medicine is the food.

Recall in Ayurvedic Medicine, the system that derived from India, all matter is organized into three main elements, energy qualities, or doshas: Vata, Pita and Kapha. Each person is made up of a unique blending of these three doshas. In most people, one dosha predominates, affecting personality and body type. Health is maintained by balancing all three. Vata dosha is associated with coolness, dryness and activity; pitta dosha is sharp, hot and quick; kapha dosha has the qualities of heaviness, coolness and stability. Food are use to balance the three energy types or Doshas.

Recall that according to Traditional Chinese Medicine food therapy is part of tradition and daily life. Food therapy is the practice of using the energy healing and nutrition from natural whole foods, instead of medications. Simply called Chinese Nutrition, Chinese food therapy dates back as early as 2000 B.C. and documentation was found in The Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine, also known as the Huang Di Nei Jing and was most important in forming the basis of Traditional Chinese Medicine food therapy. Classified according to the Five Elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water foods are respectively classified into five food groups by the four seasons (spring, summer, late summer, autumn, and winter, as well as five tastes or flavors: Wood, spring, sour; Fire, summer, bitter; Earth, late summer, sweet; Metal, autumn, pungent and Water, winter, salty. In addition foods are classified by their natures, characteristics and properties.

The philosophy of Yin and Yang are used in the sphere of food therapy and cooking. Yang foods increase the body's heat (e.g. raise the metabolism), while Yin foods decrease the body's heat (e.g. lower the metabolism). As a generalization, Yang foods tend to be dense in food energy, especially energy from fat, while Yin foods tend to have high water content. Ideally it is beneficial to eat both types of food to keep the body in balance. When one eats too much Yang food the energy create excessive heat and one might suffer from acnes, indigestion or bad breath, while one who eats too much Yin food may experience cloudy mental state, feeling heavy, lethargic or anemic.

Medical practitioners or Hakims used examination of pulse, urine, and stool to determine which humour is dominant at the time. Some Hakims also examined the blood pressure and heartbeats. The Hakims then questioned, palpated, and observed the person to investigate the nature of the imbalance. An herbal formula was prepared to bring the humors back into equilibrium.

A New Modern Medicine Revolution

I stumbled upon a TED video featuring Dr. William Li presenting on food for therapy and the new medical revolution, while researching Unani Medicine and Baha'i Medicine. Dr Li speaks of a new way to think about food as a therapy, treating cancer and other diseases that thrive on abnormal Angiogenesis - blood vessels that grow to feed cancer cells. Dr Li explains that these foods are called anti-angiogenesis, because they prevent the growth of these blood vessels that feed tumors and cancer.  It also works for obesity to cut off abnormal supply of blood vessels to shrink fat. You can inhibit abnormal angiogenesis by regulating healthy set-points. "The first (and best) step is eating cancer-fighting foods that cut off the supply lines and beat cancer at its own game." - Dr William Li

The TED presentation is called Can We Eat to Starve Cancer?  about "Angiogenesis",  food for therapy and illuminates a very real and practical path that is being taken by modern science. Dr. William Li heads the Angiogenesis Foundation, a nonprofit that is re-conceptualizing global disease. Now this is truly Quantum Medicine and energy healing in action. It is astonishing when we remind ourselves that all natural medicines including Traditional Chinese Medicine to Unani Medicine, which is practiced in the middle east and Persia use food therapy as medicine. Abdu’l-Baha’s words preceded this research by more than 100 years.

One of the foods mentioned in Dr. William Li's new medical revolution presentation for food therapy is resveratrol. It is very interesting that resveratrol is an anti-angiogenesis (regulates abnormal angiogenesis) which is found in red grapes and red wine. However, resveratrol has been used for thousands of years in Traditional Chinese Medicne and is available today in an affordable form called Japanese Knotwood a trans-resveratrol known as Hu Zhang.

Hu Zhang or Japanese Knotwood is Resveratrol

The Lost History of the Modern Anti-Aging Breakthrough of Resveratrol is Hu Zhang or Japanese Knotweed.

Medical researchers first observed the benefits of food as a therapy and coined the phrase "French Paradox" to describe the lower incidence of heart disease and cholesterol hidden somewhere in the French diet, even in the presence of a high fat diet in the Mediterranean population, popularizing the Mediterranean Diet. Resveratrol in red wine was identified as the source for the cholesterol and heart disease lowering effects.

The answer to the so-called "French paradox" may be found in red wine. More specifically, it may reside in small doses of resveratrol, a natural constituent of grapes, pomegranates, red wine and other foods, according to a new study by an international team of researchers. - Science Daily

The specific constituent ingredient of red wine has been identified as the key ingredient that produces these amazing health and longevity benefits is the potent molecule called "trans-resveratrol" (more commonly, "resveratrol"), and is being aggressively researched as a potential treatment for a variety of chronic and deadly diseases.

The benefits of resveratrol antioxidant and longevity claims have now been well documented, but the forgotten relationship of resveratrol to a Chinese herb known as "Hu Zhang" is practically unknown. Hu Zhang translates as "Tiger Cane" and has many names in Chinese Medicine, however resveratrol is commonly known as Japanese knotweed and has been used safely for over 1,500 years in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).  The the translation name arises from the variegated color of its stem, apparently reminding the ancient Chinese of the colors of the tiger. It is similar to a bamboo and grows wild and rapid.

Hu Zhang or Japanese Knotwood is extraordinarily potent and completely natural source of resveratrol. Hu Zhang is documented in the Chinese Herbal Medicine Materia Medica as Radix ety Rhizoma Polygoni Cuspidati and has alternative names such as Da Chang Zhang, and Ku Zhang in Japanese medicine. The indications listed are: invigorates the blood, dispels stasis, unblocks the channels, clears heat, discharges toxins and stops pain. These observations resonate quite closely with the observed "French Paradox" for; preventing heart disease (by invigorating the flow of blood), and lower cholesterol (unblocks the channels and dispelng stasis or stagnation), as well as many of the other health benefits that resveratrol provides. Hu Zhang or Japanese Knotwood is the trans-resveratrol used in it's highest organic quality in Salu International's Resveratrol Blend.

I can't tell you how happy I was to hear Dr. William Li include the foods I use in my Fountain of Youth System in his lecture: soy (tofu), green tea, bok choy, shatake mushrooms and resveratrol - all
anti-angiogenesis foods.

Here is one of my comments on a Resveratrol article:
 Resveratrol
I agree with Dr. Simms on Resveratrol. I started my research last year after all the hooplah on the internet and TV. I tried 5 different brands and found one on the internet with 500mg of Trans-resveratrol. I took 2 every day for a month. The other brands came in 100mg some Trans-resveratrol some not. I have to admit I see the benefits in taking this supplement. It may or may not prolong my life, but it did increase my energy, endurance, some weight loss, not to mention my skin and hair. I look younger! A friend saw me last week after one year and she raved about my skin and how young I looked. She made my day. Resveratrol seems to make my systems work more efficiently. Make sure you get at least 500mg of trans-resveratrol a day, if you want to experience any results. I have my own health regime and supplements, but Resveratrol is potentially the most revolutionary discovery I made! Wishing you Health, Wealth, Prosperity and Forever Young:-)

Quantum Medicine and Energy Healing - Theta-Delta Healing - Prayer and Meditation

Theta-Delta Healing is Quantum Medicine and energy healing where consciousness is waves of possibilities for consciousness to choose from. It is applied quantum physics to healing with prayer, transformation and meditation seemed antithetical to science just a few years ago.

To scientist prayer was considered superstition and meditation a placebo effect. However, recent discoveries in quantum physics have shown that it is consciousness itself that is a powerful force and there is scientific evidence of God or an objective scientific name such as Universal Consciousness.

Using Alpha Theta Healing one can lower their brain waves to theta level their consciousness to easily connect to the Universal Consciousness. In this state one can connect with the Divine Source to initiate a healing that can change the state of being, health, unwanted thought patterns, negative vibrations, undesirable feelings, social and historical conditioning can all be transformed for a state of general well-being to allow their fears and ego barriers to fall away.

Beta brain waves are the brain state of normal awake consciousness where we are alert, focused. It is the state of concentration, cognition, thinking and negotiation.

Alpha waves are the brain state of relaxation, meditation and visualization where there is a sense of peace, tranquility and well-being. It is the state of creativity, superior learning and the source of new ideas and solve problems. Most meditation and energy healing techniques utilize the alpha state for relaxation and healing.

Theta waves are the brain state of just before sleeping and just after waking, daydreaming, lucid dreaming, REM sleep (dreams), hypnosis and the border between the conscious and subconscious world. Theta is the state of intuition, inspiration, aspiration and states of higher consciousness. In Theta we are able to connect to the Divine Source and become co-creators with Universal Consciousness or God to manifest changes in the material world. Thus, the mind becomes capable of deep and profound intuition, growth, understanding, learning and healing. By consciously learning to tap into use Theta brain wave in an awake state, we can access and influence the powerful subconscious part of ourselves that is normally inaccessible to our wakened mind to in effect reprogramming our subconscious and access intuition.

Delta waves are the brain state of deep sleep, unconsciousness, a deep trance and is the state  necessary for the release of pituitary growth hormone. Regeneration and healing occur in this state of sleep and a person who accesses or receives a Theta Healing requires this state of sleep for the effects of the healing to anchor and to process subconsciously.

Gamma brain waves are the brain state of hyper-alertness, perception, and the integration of sensory input as when time seems to slow down or one has extreme powers as when one sees their live pass before their eyes or during a car accident and one demonstrates extreme abilities. This is the state where the brain has entered into a high gamma state.

In Quantum Physics the theory of nonlocality states that a unifying connection can exist between two or more objects, even at great distances. If one object is perturbed, the other will seem to feel it and react, regardless of the distance. Nonlocality suggests that it is possible to use conscious prayer to create change. Ethically, Theta Healing requires that desire for this healing be verbally affirmed by the client before the prayer is offered.

The theory of quantum entanglement says that the very act of observing a quantum particle will affect its behavior, implying that consciousness influences events in the material world. For example, microbiology research indicates that human emotion can either constrict or loosen the stranding of human DNA on a microscopic slide outside the body. Thus, researchers observing DNA through a microscope could see the strands grow tighter or looser as a result of the observers' feelings. It is this principle that requires that Theta Healers observe that changes take place.

ThetaHealing™ is an unique technique designed by Vianna as a therapeutic self-help guide to develop the ability to change on all levels: physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually using the Creator of all That Is. ThetaHealing™ is best known for the Belief and Feeling Work on all four levels; Core, Gene, History, and Soul. This  approach "teaches how to put to use our natural intuition, relying upon unconditional love of Creator Of All That Is to do the actual “work”. We believe by changing your brain wave cycle to include the “Theta” state, you can actually watch the Creator Of All That Is create instantaneous physical and emotional healing. With growing scientific evidence that toxic emotion can contribute to disease and the awareness that emotions, feelings and the power of thought have a direct bearing upon our physical health, there is increasing interest in changing how the mind influences the body to create optimum health. Belief and Feeling Work empower people with the ability to remove and replace negative emotions, feelings and thoughts with positive, beneficial ones.

ThetaHealing™ can be most easily described as an attainable miracle for your life.
ThetaHealing™ is also best known for the 7 Planes of Existence; a concept to connect to the Highest Level of Love and Energy of All That Is. Using this concept, the practitioner can achieve the highest clarity and wisdom love."
