I am wowed by some amazing experiences that have transformed my life. Here is one - my Wow Now 90 Day Challenge experience:
After listening to a call for an opportunity to be part in the Mark Victor Hansen and Robert G Allen (co-authors of One Minute Millionaire and Crack the Millionaire Code) - next 90 Day Challenge – for their new book Cash in a Flash, I knew I had to be one of the participants to learn their secrets. During my interview the question was asked, “Why should we select you Saquina?” My reply was, “Because I am unstoppable!” Needless to say I was one of the 40 students selected out over 1,000.
True to the energy of the Year of the Ox, on the first day of the training event 04/21/09 the power was out in beautiful Rancho Palos Verdes and I woke up in the dark - literally. I was so excited I had already packed the day before therefore a quick show in cold water, got dressed and I was on my way. I arrived at the Fairmont Hotel to spend three days with my mentors Mark Victor Hansen co-author of Chicken Soup for the Soul and Robert G Allen author of Multiple Steams of Internet Income and Nothing Down as one of the students selected for the 90 Day Challenge.
The training and event was amazing. We received recipes for success and the key ingredients to our own inner wealth: Wow Now, Inner Winner and Dream Team. Wow Now: is a special state of mind and strong mental attitude where we focus our mind so that we remained calm and confident under stress and pressure. Inner Winner: is a special of emotions, frequency and vibration. We learned to shush our lying mind, clear negative thoughts and emotions, to ask ourselves empowering, uplifting questions and to speak in high-vibration, to raise our vibration and frequency with positive high-energy words such as instead of a “problem” switch the word to a “challenge. We "virtualized" and visualized what we wanted using our five senses to experience our future in the present. We had homework to practice these states by controlling our breathing, our critical voice, our emotional inner whiner and controlling our language stating with removing “but” from our communication. We practiced these states in silence to vibrate at higher frequency to attract what we want. We were placed into groups of five to a team. We listened to speakers, met with our team to formula our plan and strategy and we met with our mentors. Wow Therapy! That was a lot in three days!
I met new friends from different walks of life and different professions some already making mega bucks and some like me all sharing something in common - transformation. My journey was just starting as I would have to pull from every tool I teach, and practice what I preach to overcome challenges, difficulties and obstacles to stay focused, centered and calm.
The Challenge was to do something that we had never done before. We listened to amazing speakers, took notes, got into teams and got to work. My team included James our team leader, David, August and Elizabeth. We named our team – The Quantum Achievers! The challenge was to create from what we already had, little or nothing, identify opportunities from what we already have, identify key ingredients and to determine what was missing to generate $20,000 and 20,000 database names in 90 days! We got to work as a team and individually.
I got to work and listed 101 possibilities, created "The Funnel" then narrowed it down to the top 10 projects to identify my “handing fruit”. I selected my XANGOTM book as the main project, design a website and build a social network for the Challenge.
I was already published in the book Seizing Your Success and had started the XANGOTM book in 2006, so I created a new book series using the Chicken Soup for the Soul model with that publisher, Wake Up and Live. I added content to the XANGOTM Book Project, completed it and submitted it to the publisher and off to the editors. I also leveraged my publisher, Steven E who directed me to Bill Wash to present my book project to XANGOTM. Bill Walsh was inspiring and gave me the courage to go to the top. Contacted Joe Morton, XANGOTM founder to present my XANGOTM Book project. My Cash in a Flash group and team members helped as well as. Joan Kappes from another team referred me to her brother John Ramsey a XANGOTM distributor, who got the ball rolling. Sue Elliot and Carol Fox also contributed to help me get co-authors for my book.
Next, I designed a website from a $9.95 software package: www.saquinaakanni.com, branded myself as the “Prosperity Doctor”, added Health, Wealth and Prosperity, the XANGOTM book, and my miracle oil “Acupuncture in a Bottle” that I have been talking about since 2000, as well as the affiliate Cash in a Flash program. Then I revived my old blog “Alternative Medicine and started a new blog for the “The Prosperity Doctor” for my Social Network empire and created a Facebook page and started building my Twitter following. My team helped me get my brand name in the top 10 Google search for "prosperity doctor". Then I went on the Cash in a Flash book tour. Wow - I did it!
That experience was a truly a Wow Therapy. I am 62 years young and generally fly under the radar in my comfort zone. During that journey I realized my own genius potential and transformed. Without the help of my mentors Mark and Bob that would not have been possible as I would not have even considered taking on such a project. The Cash in a Flash Group and my Quantum Team members helped me move into my zone of Genius, blurring work with fun, living in bliss having it all – success and time to pay with my grandson “Baby Einstein” Jabril. I stayed focused under constant distractions, while working as a personal assistant, taking calls in restaurants, being available for my weekly meetings with my team working on my projects at Beverly Hills Bristle Farms Café while waiting for my client on her schedule! Being with nine family members, our spoiled high maintenance cat Lucky and guests coming and going in my house. I was tested and learned to practice every thing I preach as well as patience, persistence and perseverance, but most of all no fear, “no- resistance”, remaining in balance (most of the time) with joy in my heart living in bliss no matter what is going on around me or not going my way. I had another great adventure doing the book tours and the New York experience was another Wow Therapy!
I had already won the game mind, body, spirit, soul and emotions before the deadline. I wasn’t about the money even though that helped. It was about personal growth. It was about others – helping, sharing, giving and receiving, about being in balance when things were not going my way, overcoming challenges and obstacles to stay on the path even when it was flooded, and to realize my “true grit” and character under pressure. Thank you team members, thank you Cash in a Flash team groups and most of all Mark and Bob for being my mentors, rekindling my spirit and awaking my soul - setting me free to be – free to soar again as the Prosperity Doctor!
